We prefer girl students because they are more prone to child labours because they are always wanted for work in school and at home.  We found that girl child labours, whether they are taking care of their own siblings or the children where they work, they are paid low and exploited for house chore works in addition to their loom work.

And when they are released with the help of friends they go under more pressure in homes because, they become outgoing and outspoken and their works become less in home.

They have to be given constant education as all the responsibilities of home come on them.

One example, Thilaga, a released child labour , after putting in school has realized that how they were exploited by her owner in showing increased debts , wrong calculations and finally they lost their own house for debts.

And became careful , in dealing with accounts. She was working in loom from 5a.m to 9.00am , then go to school, then from 6.00pm to 10.00pm to support her fatherless family.

And there are many more examples.

We support them with notebooks, refreshment camps and tours.
